Here are the Itinerary of Merzouga 4x4 excursion
Our Merzouga 4×4 tour starts from Merzouga village or Merzouga desert camp to the seasonal lake of Merzouga, it will be a great opportunity to watch migration birds if the lake is full of water. then we continue driving along the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi until we arrive at Khamlia village, we will stop to enjoy Gnawa music and dance with the Gnawa rhythm.
From Khamlia village we will continue to drive in the black desert and we will stop on the top of a mountain for a panoramic view of Erg-Chebbi dunes and the black desert before we continue to the lead mines where we will stop to explore the area and to get to know about the fossils and led mines.
We will continue our Merzouga 4×4 tour driving on the black desert beside the Algerian border until we arrive at the nomadic families in the desert, there we will stop to explore the nomadic lifestyle and to have a cup of tea with nomads at their tent.
We can’t end our Merzouga 4×4 excursion without exploring the abandoned village of Merdani, then we drive back to our desert camp.
